Won’t be a popular pick, but southern Missouri has a very wide variety of species in a very concentrated area. Streams with rainbows, brown trout and smallies, to ponds and lakes with crappie, bass, catfish, and more, to big lakes even with hybrid wiper and stocked muskie. All of this within a 1-2 hour drivable circle (niangua river for trout, Pomme de Terre lake for huge variety and best muskie lake, and every body of water in between. Would make for a good multi-species challenge 👍🏼

I’ve hit some big spools of fishing line in my motor a few times when loading up my boat at the boat landing. Doesn’t mess your motor up as much as a anchor rope but people need to really learn on keeping the boat landings clean for everybody else

Only 2 reasons to ever cast a line… To eat or to fish. Panfish are plentiful eats and Carp are so fun.

  35. Fishing on ice on February 1, 2023 at 4:47 pm

With gar let them run for about 30 seconds to a minute and then set the hook like you are sending it to space

  36. Jesus Cheeses on February 1, 2023 at 4:48 pm

Let me find out that’s why I like your and ayo’s & lojo’s sense of comedy elote jokes b🔥😂

  37. Nate Daniels on February 1, 2023 at 4:48 pm

Those gator gar are nearly impossible to land with a hook. Gotta use frayed rope, it gets tangled up in all their teeth

  38. Youthanasía on February 1, 2023 at 4:48 pm

Come back to BC! It’s middle of salmon season right now! Or come for steelhead if you want a real challenge

  48. Redneckturtle on February 1, 2023 at 4:59 pm

My ex-brother in law loved fishing gar because of the way they would play with their food. He always said that was true fishing. I’ve heard a lot of people don’t like fishing them because they don’t act like normal fish and they’re really strong.

  49. shukthy on February 1, 2023 at 5:01 pm

I haven’t been to all lakes in Texas but I’ve pretty much caught majority of the species you caught in 2 lakes. Ray Hubbard and Lake lavon. never caught striper bass in these 2 lakes.
I’m not sure if yellow bass is native to Texas, I’ve only started catching them for last 5-9 years. if it is native to Texas then you’ve missed that and you need to be in season to catch white bass, sand bass and Hybrid Bass.
If you want strong fighting fish, you need to catch a 22-25 inch male hybrid, that thing will take your line all over the place. they will get your line stuck in anything they can get to.
