One of the BEST small group/family video canoe/camp adventures on YouTube. Spectacle-ocular scenery and videography. Day 2: Yes, that is a ‘Log Cabin’ fire lay. Usually, the tinder bundle and fine stuff goes toward the bottom and then more wood is added to build up the ‘cabin.’ The advantage is that once the fire ‘takes,’ less dry wood can be positioned to dry enough to do its job when the time comes! Beautiful river scenes! Were those ‘elvers’ in the shallow water at the beginning of day 4? I would echo your better-informed ‘Big Thanks to Brandon!’
