What a master knife maker. He made that look so easy.
Despite their fruits, this man hands are monstruous.
Beautiful knife sir! Great job!
Cy is the man.
I have no idea how anyone could thumbs down this video. amazing talent
Sir was a privilege to watch you work , amazing skill
"Ounces turn into pounds and pounds turn into pain" -some elk hunter probably
Great job 👏🏽 I just left it like 👍🏽
What is that power hammer? I haven’t seen one like that before.
Please disregard my buying a knife, part of my last message….I looked more and found the site for the purchases….sorry …
What a craftsman. Amazing.
i wonder how one would acquire one of his knives. they are simply amazing
Muito linda. Deus te abençoe em nome de Jesus agora e sempre.
Gents this fine and skilled, prove that age…is just another arbitrary number in life. Just a sublime piece.
He’s 80 years old and still talks about his father. Man I love being a dad (2 young boys)! It takes responsibility and courage and the love of god to be a good father, so your kids can be good fathers. Thank you dad.
My grandpa was welder and blacksmith as well. Salute to you sir. 👍🏾👏🏾
That was amazing to watch every thing about it
I can listen to old timers swear all day long.
Beautiful job Cy. Thanks for sharing.
This man is an animal wish my generation was made up of more folks like him
More of CY PLEASE!
This would break most men half Cy’s age.
Great video ….. you have a gift
This guys muscle memory knows more about metal working than most peoples whole brain.
Just a heads up when I use the link to the knife website I get a huge warning about an unsafe site…. I’m guessing that’s because you’re helping CY (third party) but it still frightens most people.
I wish Cy was my neighbor I could learn a lot from that man he would have to throw a hand grenade in his shop to get me out when he was working in there
I Like than man’s soul as depicted in this recording. Cy; you (are) the best!
This guy would kick your ass.
My first knife is almost complete and I’m 15 haha
There is nothing better than watching such a true talented and sincere person crafting.
Thank you Mr for sharing. You inspired me more than ever

3CHEERS FOR AMERICAN MEEKNESS.
ALWAYS … GREATNESS … AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL !!
WINNING STILL !!
damn hes rocking some carhartt overalls
He’s exactly the same age as my Dad. And that is a quality knife and blade that will keep an edge. This generation and especially those long before, made almost everything by hand. They couldn’t just go to the hardware store or the five and dime.
There is no such things as a Old Man, there is only a man! Great craftsman
What kind of steel I wonder does Cy prefer?
Love his warranty. "If your knife breaks and you are not a jackass I will replace it for you."
I tend to agree with Glenn’s comments. But, more to my point; I can’t get into the page for "Buying a knife ..Cy, etc…." I get a very strong message telling me to get off the page as it will allow bad people to come in and eat my pc or at least infest my pc with bad colds, etc… So, is there another way to see what he makes and sells? Please be aware that I am only slightly more smart in pc-dom as I am re; metal smithing….. (sorry)
that guy is amazing!
What an absolutely wonderful and functional work of art!
Can you tell me what the notch at the base of the blade is for?
When you see Cy swinging that cross peen hammer, you first will think(at least I did anyhow) well, he’s slowed down quite a bit, kinda a frail old man, aint he? But then you look again, and realise he’s swinging a 4 Lbs cross peen, and holy cow does that steel MOVE! Then you remember he’s 80, pulling 400 degree knives out of ovens with his bare hands. If you dont have someone to look up to, you do now. God bless that son of a gun.
That’s a neat trick attaching one scale at a time. I will have to use that in the future. Thanks.
I was currently given one of cys knives as a gift from my wife for our daughters birth and this man is artist in every sense of the word, anybody that gets a chance to hold one of these knives is a better man for having done so
Bare hands and still all his fingers and nails! That’s proof of years of focused attention while working, with maybe a few small miracles thrown in.
Cy kinda reminds me of Hub from the movie secondhand lions.lol.
