Great video. I recommend your site all the time.
Wow, thanks for showcasing our Copper Canyon 5th Wheel in Pinegrove Campground. I was watching and then "Hey, that is our 5th wheel. 🙂 Told my wife about it too.
Nice!
On way home to Texas tomorrow after visiting Arizona. Stayed near Tombstone, and spent time at Lost Dutchman (had great site) and Dead Horse Ranch State Parks.( great base for visiting Sedona, Meteor Crater, and Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Parks.) Definitely want to visit again because there’s so much to see there. Wonderful state.
You forgot my beloved Sedona. We didn’t have enough time this past summer to check out too many places in AZ… but we loved Sedona and plan on checking out a few more areas. Thanks for the video.
I live in the Valley. We hand snow capped mountains all along the eastern rim this year. Last time it happened was about 30 years ago.
I loved the area around Superstition Mtn…;-)
Super! Thanks for the suggestions. Keep up the great work. Love your web site too.
Please; it’s pronounced Pee-ka-cho Peak.
what about the mogollon rim just east of Payson (260) love it there }:)
As an Arizona native and a RV owner, I approve of this video. Two thumbs up!
I can’t believe being from Arizona I mispronounced Picacho Peak. Well, at least I said Prescott the right way!
Why do I have a feeling an Airstream is in your future? Every video is loaded with Airstreams. lol, keep up the great work.
Great vid! Very informative, no fat, just the facts, great stuff, keep up the great work!
In retirement saying a name correct isn’t a law same for spelling,,,, reallly it doesn’t matter, well maybe for mr Garmin lol

Are they free parks or pay to park and how much
You missed La Siesta Campground in Arivaca. It is a hidden gem.
Woukd be nice if you told us if the places charged or not, and even about how much.
Great information and suggestions!
picacho peak is not pronounced pikachu… it isnt a pokemon. pih katch o
I’ve lived in Flagstaff for a few years now and have explored alot of the forest outside of town, here are some recommendations for anyone looking for a good place to camp near flag. I would recommend forest roads near Lockett meadow, the cinders OHV area, and Ashurst lake. If you go to the Flagstaff Ranger Station they have free maps of all forest roads in Coconino County, the maps show what roads have dispersed camping as well as seasonal designations/closures. Those maps have helped me and my friends find some stellar spots around Flag, hope this helps.
Thanks so many options. Planning a trip and this helps a lot.
Love Az.
Hello Sedona?
Wow! Best RV camping.?..Maybe for RVs. Not even close to the best camping in AZ.
Hopefully the wrong crowd won’t see this video and ruin these beautiful places
New subscriber, and a fellow Arizonan as well. Loved this video! We do have wonderful places to visit here. Thanks for all these campgrounds (some I never heard of). We plan to full-time RV next year, so these campgrounds are helpful as we get ready to leave.
