0:05 – Long Lost Buck Returns, Rut Ramp Up – 10-28-19
With a marginal wind Bill decides to hold off hunting any of his target bucks, instead he goes to his favorite stand. With no targets showing up in this area, he can only hope for luck. By the end of the night, Bill tags a giant buck he’s been searching for since last year. Then we catch up with multiple members of the team as they roll through late October taking advantage of the great weather.
21:56 – Snort-Wheeze Brings Buck, Classic Deer Camp – 11-25-19
We first join Collins Marine in Iowa as he tags a super wide buck using a snort-wheeze. Then we catch up with Josh Honeycutt who, after a very tough season, finally gets the chance to wrap his tag on a great buck. Not only is it a great buck, he gets to do this while sharing hunt camp with great friends. Finally we catch up with the rest of the team to see how their action has been during the notorious “lull.”
38:54 – River Bottom Bucks, Hunting in the Snow – 11-11-19
First we join Jared Mills back on a snowy November morning. After two years, Jared uses his first landowner tag ever after harvesting a great buck. Then we join Warren Dykstra who experiences great rut action when his top target walks by behind a doe. Then, Drake Lamb sneaks out for a hang and hunt on a new property that ends with punching his Iowa bow tag. Finally, we get updates from the rest of the team as they push through November hoping to catch up to their target bucks.
1:01:08 – Rut’s Last Days, End of Lockdown – 12-2-19
We first join Bill Winke who takes advantage of the rut’s final days by hunting over his best food source. Then Owen Reigler shows us another way to have success this time of year by rattling in a mature buck he’s previously encountered this season. Following this success, Owen experiences a different kind of success when he and Joe are able to get to locked up bucks apart. Finally we get updates from the rest of the team as they wrap up their 2019 rut hunts.
1:23:36 – 200″ Deer Almost Lost In River – 11-18-19
On this week’s episode we join Mike Reed on the hunt for the biggest whitetail he’s ever harvested. Not only is the buck giant, but the recovery for the deer leads Mike into the river. Then we join Jake Sproule, Mike’s camera man who is able to tag a great buck on public land in Iowa. Jared Mills provides an update on the Mystery buck ultimately closing the story. Finally, we get updates from the rest of the team.
