The guides clean up all of the birds at the end of each day. Some are served in various forms by the lodge’s 5-star chef. The owner also told me that they send some to a school lunch program, and I think they had a third program that they sent the rest to… but time and Jim Beam has prevented me from remembering what that one is!

The dove is classified as a "pest" in Argentina. They don’t eat the birds in the same way Americans would not eat pigeons, crows, etc.
