Carp in the City! (Central Park, NYC) – Carp fishing November 2018 blog

November saw me in the ‘Big Apple’ as I visited New York City’s Central Park, USA. It’s a busy time to be in the Park as it’s flooded with tourists from around the globe but it wasn’t hard to find the carp and tempt them into feeding. I talk tactics, swim choice and even get a few bites live for the camera!

as usual fella great video . do love the background noises like the movies cop cars screaming off high rise buildings. it is how you perfectly described it i bet you loved every minuet of that . as we all know, its is never the size of the fish, just the thrill of catching . well done Simon

Carp in the City. CC 33. Good video all the same.
The Crow surname to go with the 33 too.
People are waking up you know.
It’s not race, colour or religions or borders that divide humanity it’s the bloodlines.
The Rhesus Negatives are waking up to the Bird codes and it’s mockery of them.
    Good video all the same.

  37. PAUL TAYLOR on March 11, 2020 at 2:20 am

Did you have to declare those Morissons sweetcorn to customs or did you smuggle them in lol, nice video and carp.

  38. Rob on March 11, 2020 at 2:20 am

Urban fishing indeed, what impressed me most was the enthusiasm to catch such small fish knowing what you usually pursue, just like first time carping again.

  41. Juan ViralVid on March 11, 2020 at 2:25 am

Central park lakes have some HUGE carp. The largest i seen is at Harlem meer. I see that carp swimming by me when i am bass fishing. he looks to be at LEAST 3 foot long and a width of about 5-7inches wide.

  42. Ed Poole on March 11, 2020 at 2:26 am

    Brilliant 🙂

  43. Vincent Maree on March 11, 2020 at 2:26 am

If I’m told you can pick any fisherman to fish with I’d fish with Simon. Simple reason for being a decent honest guy one can learn tons from. 👍 Thumbs up man

You have to try some serious sessions here in the U.S.. It’s so untouched and undiscovered compared to European countries. Just spend about 30 minutes on google maps looking at waters in the U.S. and it should make any carp angler motivated and overwhelmed at the same time.

Hi mate you have found the American loophole that have massive wild carp out there..! And the funny thing is that… most Americans don’t like fishing for them…🤔 the only thing I see them fishing for is bass…!? It sounds to me like a carp fishing paradise!? Or is it just me.
Grate vid mate keep it up bro
