Expired Fishing License! – What Will It Cost? Police Vessel Boarding

Our boat was boarded by law enforcement while fishing with several Summer Flounder (Fluke) in our possession. A Department of Environmental Conservation police officer asked to see our fishing licenses, and caught one that was expired. He then inspected our live well to check for undersized and out of season fish. These are New York’s fisheries police.

All fish and Wildlife officers have no legal jurisdiction or authority whatsoever they all violate human and constitutional rights Which render them as TRESSPASSERS of THEIR OFFICES and nullifies all jurisdiction and authority.

It’s great to see local fishing videos which gives helpful advice on technique and tackle. I’ve actually met the gentleman in the yellow shorts, I have a friend that keeps his boat at the same marina/the same dock

  16. Bill S on June 1, 2020 at 5:25 pm

Its like the first time you been boarded! Down here in Jersey (NY Harbor/Raritan Bay) we have a number of agencies and are very aggressive that want to check you and you boat out. But, they have stopped checking kayaks, which is great for me!

  25. Andrew Rollins on June 1, 2020 at 5:36 pm

The one thing I notice about John Sknner – he is ALWAYS fishing. His line is always in the water. Cops come, he fishes.
Can’t catch if the hook is not down. Good job.

    Title 18 u.s.c. section 242
Deprivation of rights under color of law.
It is a human right to fish or hunt for food without being extorted.

  41. Richard Powell on June 1, 2020 at 5:51 pm

Free license to fish there? I’m surprised.

  42. Supreme king Jesus on June 1, 2020 at 5:52 pm

You don’t need a fishing license to fish especially if you’re hungry God put fish in this world for you to hunt, not the government

  43. Buddy Cherrix on June 1, 2020 at 5:54 pm

What kind of boat did the police have?

  44. Krid Kelso on June 1, 2020 at 5:55 pm

I am also surprised they didn’t do an equipment check. Every time I got boarded I had to show I had 1 life preserver for each person, a throwable, and a fire extinguisher.

  45. MakoRey Florida on June 1, 2020 at 5:55 pm

that’s cause your filming. things would have turned different if you were not. always film them. they will treat you different. yes talking from experience

  46. Huck Fin on June 1, 2020 at 6:00 pm

Why does anyone need a fishing license? Because a politician said so, and your ok with that ? looks like slavery is alive and well still in the U.S. Just sinful in my opinion.

  47. Jimmy Gilmore on June 1, 2020 at 6:00 pm

In Ca it’s $1,000. A appearance infront of the judge. Depending on the situation and past infractions he or she usually will reduce the fine. Went through this is 2017
