With an upcoming “Babes on the Bay” redfish tournament, the forecast was for 25 – 30 mph winds and rough waters. Time to explore some new areas of protected water along the Victoria Texas Barge Canal. Scouting and pre fishing for the tournament we used the knowledge and experience of years of fishing to locate likely areas to hold redfish. Using everything in our arsenal, we caught nearly every type of fish in the canal as you will see.
