What state is this park In?

  10. Alter Eco Adventures on June 3, 2020 at 5:15 pm

This motivated me to skinny dip on my last canoe trip, even though I haven’t since I was a kid! Nothing like camping in the woods! ALSO the camera shots specifically during the portage while carrying the boat when it pans down looking forward then pans up looking backwards, SO GOOD! I re watched that soo many times, haha I want to try something like that!

  11. David Lee on June 3, 2020 at 5:15 pm

    Hey Chris and Julia,
Thanks so much for doing the Far North series! I’m a single dad, and my kids and I started watching your channel last summer. Living in the North, we started to get interested in doing some camping in that part of the park. We are actually heading in tomorrow for a quick 2 nights.

Just wanted to say thanks for your videos, I hope you understand the impact you two have had on me – and wanting for my kids to get an experience like this. I can’t explain how excited they are for this trip, I can hear them in thier rooms awake because they can’t sleep 🙂
And that is in large part you two. My kids see how much fun you both have, together. They see beauty of nature through not only your lenses, but also through your story telling. But they also see two supportive, caring and strong women.

I think you are both excellent role models for my kids, something I wish there were more of on YouTube these days.
So congrats of this videos hitting over a million views!

We hope we run into in the park someday in the future, and don’t worry we promise not to go all fan-family (instead of fan-boy) on you – would just be nice to say thanks in person.

Hope you are both well, keep up the great videos. Love from North Bay, ON

  15. nick batson on June 3, 2020 at 5:19 pm

Hi both have just found your channel it’s fantastic we do not get snow in the uk like you do.
Is it expensive to rent a cabin in the summer or winter….
The views look breathtaking you got me hooked from England all the best both…..

  16. Kurt Outdoors on June 3, 2020 at 5:22 pm

Honestly…can’t decide if I like or dislike this video. It is different than most Algonquin vids that’s for sure….gonna watch some more then decide…strange music for a nature setting…but excellent video quality and camera angles…..

  17. Dave Wellington on June 3, 2020 at 5:24 pm

Great video ladies. Question: What video camera did you have on the tripod and what MRS tent are you using?

  18. BD H on June 3, 2020 at 5:24 pm

This one was so realistic on the trail, on the water and when you jumped into the lake I actually got wet. Nothing better than kindred spirits in the backcountry.

It’s crazy the stuff you come across on YouTube. I’ve spent many nights on that 1st sandy beach campsite. In 1995 me and a few friends were awarded a contract to rehab all the sites on Manitou and Kiosk. Best fall ever.

  47. Taralga Bush Adventure on June 3, 2020 at 5:51 pm

Loved it, fantastic filming! Makes me want to try harder for my videos. But also, the ex-boy-scout in me would suggest at 11:55 that you light matches by striking away from you, rather than towards you. Thanks so much!

  48. Alfred Wessex on June 3, 2020 at 5:51 pm

You really capture what is the essence of wilderness canoeing. I became so engrossed in the calmness, and peaceful solitude at the beginning of the video that I completely forgot about skipping ahead to the skinny dip scene.

  49. Tumblehome on June 3, 2020 at 5:54 pm

He he… popped in to see how fast the subs were rising with the Joe Promo on release now… noticed the number of views on this vid and then saw the thumbnail.
    Butt = views 🙂
