A prime example of protecting smallmouth, is to not fish for spawning smallmouth.

Calling a male bass a male isn’t PC, it’s merely stating a fact.

I had a secret spot that had crystal clear water. I caught the biggest blue gills and bass of my life at that spot. It was exciting at first but then it felt like it was too easy. You can see the bass and blue gills surrounded the bait before that hit it.

I don’t understand why you guys don’t weigh the really really big ones to confirm how much they weigh. Are we just suppose to to take your word for it because you have a fishing channel lol? Always weigh and measure lol…

I caught a 5 pound smallie in lake oxbow in Michigan while we were camping

  25. michael paulissen on February 3, 2020 at 11:04 pm

Pretty unwise to pull spawning fish off a bed. Takes seconds for smaller fish to rush home in and eat many eggs. You may want to learn a little more about conservation and spend less time "ripping lip" during the spawn.

With all those hours trying to catch fish, one of them would end up in my charcoal fired grill… 😛

  35. platez81 on February 3, 2020 at 11:19 pm

Hey there! How come most anglers in the US pick up the fish in the mouth?? We always use nets here 🙂 it seems to be alittle easier than lying on the boatdeck face the water :).

  36. Joel Menjivar on February 3, 2020 at 11:20 pm

Idk how I got here, Handsome man, beautiful lake, awesome fishing

  37. 2 Chainz on February 3, 2020 at 11:21 pm

If you’re fishing bass on beds you have to put them right back in the water

Watched two videos by this kid, never seen such disregard of conservation!

  42. PEACFUL EASY DREAMING on February 3, 2020 at 11:26 pm

Too much time showing yourself you should show the water more in the bottom of the lake and the fish too much talking but other than that good video like that country song says Little Less Talk and alot more action

  43. Kevin Bonin on February 3, 2020 at 11:27 pm

    Torch lake?
