Why didn’t you introduce your friend? I’m guessing it was her choice.
Don’t listen to the negative comments; your videos are really nice.
I know New York is good to visit now I’m not saying it’s not but don’t be to trustee at the parks you know especially if they don’t have no security guard nothing that they could look over the park I don’t think it’s good for you to be in there I’m her uncle I work in New York and I want you to be safe 2 precaution is best to have somewhere where you could get somewhere with a permit than not getting at all and be Avenger don’t worry from in the area I look out for you which I am doing like I do for the good most people be safe
I needed an instant vacation and you just gave it to me 🙂
Hey Eric, I like what you are doing. I’ve been doing the same thing for 20 years, combing state land 1-2 hours from Rochester, NY. I camped there at Ossian State Forrest on the site across the pond. It was beautiful. Its an easy hike-in and the best of the 3 free sites. I would like it if…. in addition to giving coordinates but to say where you are. ie: what road, town or state forest your in. Have you tried Finger Lakes Natl Forrest?
It’s so cool seeing someones else’s perspective on areas I used to be in and around daily. I always enjoy seeing you and Jax hanging out around the country, but especially in a big slice of my home area.
that’s why you RV boondock because you want to avoid the drama.
I’m jealous. sophisticated way to be a bum
That’s right you tell him all the negative people in the world just don’t understand the adventures of God’s beautiful Earth keep doing what you’re doing the negative people don’t count just us our rv’s and the people that that appreciate the things that other people do and share
That chair isn’t there anymore. Fun fact: That pond is called horseshoe pond!
Enough bad things cannot be said about the idiot who dumped his couch in the river please leave your replies below.
Sorry you went through a lot of drama after this episode, but I prefer seeing you happier. Actually, seeing you so down started to wear on me. Nevertheless, we all go through good times and bad. I’m trying to embrace my ups and downs. YOu do the same. But, don’t give up. Your filming and editing are good.
By the way, this photo of me was taken on New Year’s Eve in Nelson, New Zealand last year when I was on my own adventure.
Your happiness is infectious. Love all the videos. Keep them coming. p.s. everything that will be, will be =).
hmm….that cat is a little chubby
Great video~ and your cat is so cute.

So happy to see you so happy and spending time with someone who is so special to you!
Looks like Jax would enjoy a side salad with his cat food!
I’m going to camp very soon. But I want to hiking at night within a park. Recommend me some safe and secure (from wild animals) parks on east coast pls. Thanks

Winters are rough and summers are rougher. Welcome to NY! Ninety in NY is not bad now 95 and that humidity is really tough. Pretty though ain’t it?
Not many people outside NY realize there are hundreds of NYS forests managed by the DEC and most have free camping. Go to http://www.dec.ny.gov and click on the region (1-9) that you want to camp in. You’ll find a list of state forests by county within that region, each of which have their own page listing the activities and the camping parameters. Some are best left for tenters/pop-ups, most need no permit for at least 3 days but always check to be sure. If a permit is needed, just call that DEC regional office (or call them for more info on conditions in that state forest).
I was stationed at Fort Drum, north of Syracuse, and lived in the Syracuse metro for a few years after. If you end up that way again, I suggest the beginning of September. The autumn colors will be coming in, the apple orchards will be open for picking, and you may still find a roadside ice cream stand open.
First time viewing. Love Jax and the harness, LOL. I have a harness and leash for my cat too. Does he mind having you with him in his RV all the time, LOL? I’m in western NY state and will check that Freecampsites.net site as well as more of your videos. Thanks.
Where is this exactly Eric, planning to head up there very soon…thanks
I’ve researched ny and I am determined to move there. Very inspiring video.
I thought it was a chair in the water when I saw it
Not good sites for regular RV , but horse camping; big trucks with 4×4 , great place!
This decided where my buddy and I will be primitive camping in late October! Any pointers for this location? Thanks for the vid!
P.S. (and this is not meant to be pissy in any way lol) it’s pronounced “Jen-eh-C-O”. Just so when you’re talking about your travels i. The future.
Geneseo: Sounds like -Jenna- Cee-OO
you are really owesome man !!
I was searching free camping in New York State and look what popped up. I remember watching this when it came out but that was back before I was ever commenting. It was a fun blast from the past.
That is typical New York weather!
i love the adventure places
Texting and driving is illegal dislike
This is my neck of the woods and that tent site used to be my favorite. Sadly a lot of logging has been going on in the area and looks nothing like that anymore. Dansville is my home town, was totally caught off guard seeing my little town on a fairly popular channel. The pond is called horseshoe/beavers pond. Anyways, love the vid and you’ve earned a sub!
You are in a really hot year. Even in Quebec,Canada the 90 + days just won’t quick with the humidity on top. We are 1,300 miles north of New York
@Nomadic Fanatic – Someone need’s to check out Palmer’s pond aswell, place i want to go but have not found any videos of it. I also used to live in washington state and that is the one difference between the east coast and west coast is the plant life is different.
Also looking for an rv park in the new Hartford ny area…if anyone can help, preferably year round
I’m subscribed and follow your Channel… I find your adventures interesting… Love how you walk your cat
Geneseo is pronounced "jenna-seeyo" 🙂
Hey Eric like you said if people want drama go watch another YouTube drama channel I am glad that all is going well for you lately you have had enough problems in your life keep enjoying the good times and your life no matter what your vids are about I always enjoy watching them I really envy you and your life my friend keep the vids coming and Keep On RV’n
Eric, I might be wrong, but I think you’re one of the most subbed channels for this type of content. (vehicle/rv living on the road) Which is pretty cool. Haha Always love your editing and also that you give a ton of helpful information about the places you visit. Keep up the great work!
