Omg I can’t believe you let your dog in the water! I thought it was common knowledge (especially in Texas) that alligators love the smell of wet dog and they will start coming out.

You’re lucky, that was a big gator and you were in it’s territory, plus dogs are their favorite.

    Very lucky! 🙏🙌

Why would you kayak anywhere with a small dog onboard?

I’ve had my encounters with gators in Armand bayou. Just speaking in general. Dogs and kayaks don’t mixed. Save yourself a gory memory.

Dude F that… I can’t believe you still jumped in for a swim after all that… that is just stupidity & carelessness; not giving one F about your dog either … obviously that is not the only gator in those waters…

I see alot of city folk should stay in the city and mind their mighty keyboard.
    (눈‸눈) lol.

You realize how many people swim and tube and ski and float and kayak that lake? You know how many water ways are infested with Gators and harmful snakes and parasites and countless other very real possible dangers? Particularly in the southeast United States? (눈‸눈) All of them. Literally all of them are dangerous.

And just about all of them are used for recreational fun despite the danger.
Because the stastic is so moot, you are more likely to die choking on your spit or falling in the bath tub.

Not to mention, many grow up exposed to wildlife, have a proper respect for it, but don’t fear it. Live in harmony with it.

But here it is 2021 and a man can’t take his dog for a day on the lake without being made out to be the great Satan by a bunch of bubbleboy closet witches casting curses at him from the safety and security of their isolated cubicles.

What a time to be alive.

What part of the lake is that

Wasnt there any chance they be more gators around when you got into the water after the encounter?

That was very stupid of you, but the way you handled that with such a small dog was very professional your lucky that gator wasn’t hungry and was feeling kind. You were right next to it, you couldn’t see it but it was underwater. That was so crazy. Also start uploading more vlogs like this with your dog!
