Kayaking with Arizona Outback Adventures was such a fun experience. They are so courteous and helpful, making sure you understand all of the safety precautions and kayaking tips you need for your first (of many) trips with them. They are thoroughly knowledgeable about the abundant history and ecology of the area and share many stories with you as you venture down the river.

Several in our group of travel bloggers in our group had zero experience in a kayak and they all found this to be a perfect trip to learn on. You need to bring weather appropriate athletic clothing such as shorts and a t-shirt or a bathing suit. AOA recommends bringing a dry change of clothes for after your kayaking trip, water shoes/sandals/old sneakers (worn at all times) plus sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, lip balm, medications, hat, etc. as needed.
