FYI, my wife and I fell in love on our fishing dates.
Since 1991…..still fishing together, and now with our children…..so yes, there are "fishing dates" !!!!!!
It’s My favorite Florida town. My people! (Old hippies and artists)
Over crowded part of Florida with shit drivers. Lived there for 8 years too long. Never again.
Beautiful commentary….🌅
Thank you. You have such a relaxing voice. It is almost like we are with you in your travels.
I love old school
Sounds like you’re trying push one out everytime you speak…..
He sounds like the Hispanic guy that does the radio station in Grand theft auto. Awesome voice haha.
I used to live not too far from there about eight miles on Burnt Store Road back before over development and urban sprawl took over and all of Southwest Florida became a tourist trap
How about the black community is there one and are they receptive to black people
Loved your vid. I’m semi-retired, never considered RVing. I am now. What are you doing now with the COVID virus out of hand?
Thanks, you got the real deal, freedom and fun, a bogo
Hello ! Jon ! I lived in Cape Coral back 2015 , miss that area been planing to there sometime soon this year or next , Matlacha. One of my favorite places in Florida so Peaceful!
Oh type of drone is it. Thank you Jon Great Video !
what you see is what you get tourist area like in the north east. not like the keys,
I moved back to Florida for that Old Florida feel, and instead my sleepy town was seized by the Elite Communists.
I have been living in HELL!
That is so refreshing to see real Humans still exist down here.
Refreshing video! Thank you.
Great music. Good vibes and your voice is classic
Love this how beautiful Didn’t know these places exist Robert I’m from Canada and this is my dream to visit Florida one day
Robert- I think you do a great job! Thanks for the videos!
Sir you should do voice over work or commercials or something. Your voice rocks. I am now craving beer or something from your voice. And I’m not much of a drinker, at all. LOL…:) I went and got me a bud and gulped it. LOL I wonder if Matlacha ( matt lachey ) is related to Nick Lachey? LOL
My wife’s aunt lives on the island ,she ran the post office there years back ,cool to see it from the air!
🌺 Thank You, for Your Time in making this Video. Just "Found" Your Channel. What a Beautiful Place. So Enjoyed the Tour of the Island !!! Was going to Comment on Everything, but it would’ve been way too Long. This Lil’ Island, is What Dream’s Are Made If, for Sure. We have Lived in Vegas, for "41" Yrs. This Look’s Like A Wonderful Place, to Get Away to. So Peaceful and Slow-Paced. This would be a Great Vacation Spot, or Place to Live.👍
Wow, what a very well done video..enjoyed this. you are lucky. would love to meet up if you’re ever here in Sarasota..Great editing too
I love your videos Robert. Awesome! I feel like I’m right along with YOU! 🙏💚✌
They make you pay in cash and don’t give you a receipt, you know the cashier is taking home at least $500 a day. 😁
Robert is the soundtrack your keyboard creations. ?..I like it
One of the last hidden gems of SW Florida
So very beautiful!! I’m only 7 minutes in and replayed it 3 times.
as long as it looks good to you where you place it its all that matters
Great little drinking town🤪 Ice cream shop the best nice people run it.
Where is this guy from … great voice and accent
My favorite part was the singing pig !
I love camping and that’s one beautiful campground.
Roberto debes de hacer el show en español también
A couple of questions… where do you store all your video data? in the cloud what service, how much does it cost? what editing software do you use?
This is my hometown. Although it’s changed a bunch since I was a kid. It’s places like matlacha that are in my blood. I’ve never lived anywhere else and I’ll be dying here. I’m as proud a Southwest Floridian as they come. And if you get into southwest Florida history, it makes the Wild West look like child’s pla
y. With all that said, you guys wouldn’t like it here though so try Naples or Venice lol.
Tu video es muy educativo y es un lugar hermoso. Gracias
Nice to see my island thru the eyes of a visitor. I’ve lived in Matlacha for 18 years now. And congrats for pronouncing it correctly.
I loveeeeee this place!!
Great place!….traffic is crazy during season
"an almost equally uneventful drive" LOL – good job making SWFL look like crap jajaja
I live 5 miles from here and its one of the reasons I left New Jersey. It hasn’t really changed that much in 20 years. Except the bridge was rebuilt and the stores change now and then. It’s a little piece of heaven so please don’t move here unless you have a job (or can afford to live here regardless) and are respectful to all wildlife and our beautiful environment.
Don’t believe this! I live in SWFL & know Matlacha is little more than a parking lot for tourists. Ughhh…if you readers think this is worth a drive from some hectic Metro area, you REALLY should reconsider your lives! Its just a spot of land between a City whose existence caused the destruction of 1000s of acres of natural Florida in the ’50s
Nice video Robert. I subbed.
I grew up on Pine Island. Walked, biked, rode horse back over nearly every inch of Matlacha, Little Pine Island, Pine Island and Useppa Island. Canoe, kayak and any other means of water travel around the Island and out lying protected islands. By far Cayo Costa Island is the best for over night camping if you have a boat. Rentals are available if you need to choose that route but there are several charter boats that will take you and pick you up for a fairly good price. My family still lives on the Island. Going home is always at low tide so you don’t ever forget that special smell of salt water. I love my home town.
I went there some years ago, you made my heart happy 😃 just to see it again, especially now that I’m ill.👍😇😇
Robert…you totally ROCK!!
Florida’s. Full we don’t want any more people to come to Florida you’re not a Floridian f****** leave Corona virus stop telling people how nice it is here you’re a dick
What a great video you made! I just subscribed!
You missed the whole island dude…its beyond where you stopped. I lived there for thirty five years. St.James City.
Love this video! What’s the name of the song that starts at 5:10?
