I have this bag. It is durable, and it is only water resistant as I dropped it in a deep puddle and the zippers are not taped and sealed so some water seeped in, but not heavily. The straps for both the shoulder and arm sections need to be longer so it is easier to cinch up and attach gear, e.g. a sleeping bag or pad. The webbing material does unravel frequently. I fixed both issues by adding webbing strap to each arm and gear strap and then I used a lighter to lightly singe the ends of each webbing strap all over it. I was able to attach my Ruck PALS pouches for ammo to it on both sides. It allowed me to configure for 2 PALS pouches on each side, IFAC, Quick Kit, Cordage and Sustainment [Mountain house beef stew package]) and then my patrol bag with Bivy on the underside straps webbing and my sleeping pad on top by the drag handle under the webbing strap. Inside it held my tarp, main MRE food 24-hour packet and emergency ration pack a change of socks, and my thermals as well as hygiene fire starting and removable SERE kit and a 1 litter stainless Steel Canteen full of water as well as my Sawyer filter and a packable down coat and fleece coat. I clipped an additional canteen pouch with Nalgene bottle to the waist belt. It rides well and when I strap my wool officers blanket in formation to the outside around it still is not that heavy and does well moving with little noise between, around and through brush and evergreens.

Is the make and model of this bag classified as top secret??? Do you really expect us to go to your amazon store to figure it out. Maybe you could put it in the title next time… Just a thought

Nice video. Couple of questions. 1) what are the compartments lined with? 2) how is the overall stitching, decent quality ? 3). How are the zippers, decent quality overall ? Thanks.

  20. Life Salad on November 23, 2019 at 11:26 pm

Wish you put it in the shower to test of it was water resistant with all the paper inside seemed perfect for a test.

    27L or 37L?

  25. shoemakerluis on November 23, 2019 at 11:28 pm

Not surprised to hear in the comments that these fall apart. This is an extremely generic quality backpack despite what reviewers say. This is a $40 backpack, it’s the equivalent of a $19.99 schoolbag with more details. The material is not high end, it’s very generic coated polyester you’ll find in any cheapest waterproof products. This is made in China. This exact pack is sold by various brands under different branding but the same product. The quality is no different. The perk of this backpack is the shape and design which is pretty good and thus makes it popular. I’m not saying it’s a bad product for the cheap price, it might work fine for many uses but don’t except the durability and quality of any higher end products.

  33. Cthulhu 669 on November 23, 2019 at 11:42 pm

Seems okay. A million packs have that same design. Red Rock makes a nice one for $70 in the Ranger Joe’s catalog that’s probably lots higher quality. The pack does have nice box and x stitching at stress points (very nice feature seen usually on quality packs, I couldn’t tell if it was double or triple stitched anywhere at stress points, mesh and padding on back and straps, hydration bladder pocket, lots of MOLLE all-round and compression straps (very important IMO), MOLLE and straps on the bottom where the compression sack for your sleeping bags and sleep mat should go. I’d replace the zipper pulls with color coded para cord. Are the buckles and D rings plastic or metal? I like the design of these kinds of packs, they need to offer bigger sizes tho. I’ve heard mixed reviews of Reebow gear they may be a newer pack company. How much was it? Oh, BTW, where in NC are you? Let us know how it does and it’s durability.

  34. Phoenix Cheetah on November 23, 2019 at 11:43 pm

Do you think the size is okay for school? I actually bring a lot of stuff and I always had two bags. One’s the backpack then one’s the folder bag(similar to laptop bag). Would appreciate if anyone could help me out.

  35. im nothing ok on November 23, 2019 at 11:43 pm

That was i will ordering now i need to watch this first

  36. RockCity Prepper on November 23, 2019 at 11:45 pm

Get a maxpedition falcon 2 and do a comparison. Quality and durability issues with and $40 pack unless your going surplus if yu use it and or carry anything heavy for any period of time you will see why I commented. With that being said cheap packs a good for kits. Just don’t bet your life on it. Dig it!

  48. Friar Rodney Burnap on November 23, 2019 at 11:59 pm

Tell me what backpacking gear you are carrying in yours…an 8 to 10 lb base weight I am hoping is doable. .

  49. Jared Wiggins on November 24, 2019 at 12:00 am

Oh by the way it’ll probably be a good idea 2 use the top front pocket of your pack as an E & E (Escape & Evasion) pocket!
