Hike on the Niagara Gorge Trail from Devil’s Hole State Park, Lewiston, NY
This hike is one of the “secret places” in the book of the same title by Bruce Kershner. The hike descends the staircase at Devil’s Hole State Park. The hike then follows the gorge trail upstream past Whirlpool State Park to the Rainbow Bridge.
The hike passes several landmarks including Rock of Ages, Titan Rock, the Whirlpool, Devil’s Hole Rapids, the Great Waves and the Spanish Aerocar. We also explore the Rock of Ages Cave, Driftwood Cave and Devil’s Hole Cave.
