How do you get the kids to keep running inside the circle if there’s any chance to get caught? I figured out a way, because the kids at my daycamp wouldn’t run into the mousetrap. I added a ton of beanbags in the circle, which I called "cheese". I also assigned a different color hoop for each player as their "mouse hole". I let them steal one piece of cheese per entry into the circle and return it to their base. Adding that extra bit got the game really moving for us.
