Palo Duro Canyon State Park Campground – RV Review – Amarillo, Texas

The Palo Duro Canyon is a must see if you are driving I-40 and passing through Amarillo. It’s beautiful and has great camping accommodations – even for a big rig. See our review after a stay with our 2019 Jayco Seneca.

Your videos are so good! Please keep them coming! You have good narration and camera movement is smooth. Good choice on your rig.
You are blessed with a nice family. My kids are 1 year apart and are now 12 and 13….seems like the younger years went fast, but it sure was fun and I enjoyed every minute of it.
Please don’t change a thing on your video format! I look forward to your next one! You have a fan in Minnesota!

We are going to Palo Duro in November. Thanks for let us know about the 10% grade drive in! It’s good information to know, especially for new RVers out there. We have recently upgraded from a 13′ Uhaul fiberglass trailer to a 25′ Avion, and the increase in weight has chnaged our driving style and now we must take grade into consideration.

We LOVE Palo Duro Canyon! It was super cold and we were in a tent, as you can see in our vid, but we still LOVED it! Hoping we can go back soon! It’s perfect for a variety of camping, we saw so many different kinds of campers and RVs as well as tent of all kinds.

We arrived with our camper in tow well after dark. Ignorance is bliss and we had no idea how nerve racking the roads were. We just took it slow.
