First off that’s not a drop shot rig, and stop using other people’s footage. Garbage.

Tongue eating louse. Take them out and kill them. You’ll save that fish.

Thanks for the song. Also I like how you used someone else’s video to add to how you felt the day was when you got bit.

The thing in the lingcod’s gills is a sea louse.

Is that a California Scorpionfish? Nice catch!

Fort Baker… Great fishing spot with a World class view of a World famous bridge…

Love your videos. Attempted to employ some of your tactics off my boat in the Berkeley flats last week(heavy drop shot) but I only had a pyramid sinker in 2oz and kept picking up crap from the bottom. I’ll try again with a coin weight like you used here.

Dude, your vids are awesome. Brings back alot of memories.
The corner of Fort Baker Pier you were fishing at 1:55 of the vid has access to get underneath the pier. You have to jump that railing and shimmy yourself down between the pilings onto a narrow walkway under the pier. My brother and I would catch some huge perch there.

The answer to your question at the end of the vid is a Sea Lice

What is the limit on Lingcod in the bay area, and are they counted as
part of the RCG limit. I can not seem to find a diffident rule on this
