RV Camping at Fort Richardson in Jacksboro Texas
Fort Richardson State Park was a great little getaway from DFW for RV camping with my two boys. We had an awesome time. The trail is easy with some elevation and a lot of little history lessons along the way. We stayed at RV campsite #8. Had a great time with plenty of things to do from hiking, biking, fishing, campfires, and just hanging around at the campsite. There are some neat historical buildings to explore at the fort and the boys really enjoyed that. Highly recommend for a weekend away to make some memories with the family.
