I had a blast camping with Vicky, Roo, Chuck, Tammy and Leanna! I love winter camping, especially at places like Lake Whitney in North Texas. Special thanks to Rhonda and Billy from Strongs Adventures for their fabulous Dutch Oven cooking tips! And for providing the dutch oven. 🙂

LOL! I was wondering if you were going to put a carrot in there! Billy burned his finger the other day bc Lola (the dog) chewed off the leather of one of the fingers on his glove. Now that’s the back-up pair!

You cut carrots really fast! LOL!
You did an amazing job Lola. Yes you had the right amount of coals on the bottom and top because you were simmering and not baking. That was not a spoon it was a small shovel for a small Dutch oven. Good job on the turning Vicky. Uuumm yea do you know how many times I had to burn my fingers before it sinks in to use the gloves or a lid lifter? A LOT! LOL. Looked like y’all were having a really great time around the camp fire.

You may or may not know me to be a little abrupt at times. This is due to severe head trama in motorcycle HELMETS.
The ONLY reason i am still alive… Is because i wear a helmet. Concrete and steel have exactly ZERO% mercy on human flesh and bones(this also includes brain matter.)
No helmet = me… dead on Nov 11th 1983. [Steel]

P.s. yes. Helmet hair can be a beautiful thing if the face under it is still breathing.
