Just an FYI, those are Elk, not caribou. Caribou are shorter/squattier and totally different antlers.
Great video and recommendations. Please note…you saw Elk vice caribou in Banff….Caribou are wayyyy up north in the province. Fantastic videos.
Tocofino
Next time in WA don’t forget to visit Bellingham 😉
I still can’t figure out if you all made it to glacier National Park or not, … I’m guessing you didn’t because I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere yet in any of these videos. It would surely have to be # 1 or 2 next too Banff . You went right by my front door in one video i watched when you came back through the border at Sweetgrass so i know you were close . Anyway love your videos I’ll be watching and waiting. Love love love these videos 🇺🇸 😉🇺🇸
RV noob here. What does "state park-ish" mean. I can’t tell if that was an insult or compliment to state parks.
I discovered your video by researching RV living, and I’m addicted! Your family is inspiring. I’m a homeschooling mom to my youngest child (11) who is still at home, and he and I have began discussing road schooling. I’m looking into ways to work on the road either by work camping, or online remotely (taking classes online now). We started looking at travel trailers that would work for us, and rated for my truck (thanks to your video covering that.) Our plan has no set date, but the goal is to get our travel trailer, and hit the road within two years max. We are living vicariously through you guys, but taking notes on the good, the bad, and the ugly of RV life on the road. I’ve learned so much from your videos, even though we haven’t watched them in order.
Thank-you for devoting yourselves to your videos, you guys rock!!
Elaine and Peyton
Learning so much about RVing. You guys are in my top 10!!!
Definitely British Columbia is our favorite – So far! We are heading out south for the first time this Winter. Vancouver to Cabo San Lucas!
Bella Pacifica is the camp ground right on the beach in Tofino. If you have a truck camper or tent there are spots right on the beach. If you choose to stay in Ucuelet then check out mussel beach. The owners are great people and the sights face Barclay sound. South of that is Bamfield and Pachena bay camp ground. Maybe do a vancouver island special season lol.
Banff and Jasper NPs are in Alberta…
Love watching you guys! So fun and informative! And…you’re from AZ too! Next time you’re in town, I’d love to meet! One thing I have to share though….Zion is pronounced Z-eye-un, not Z-eye-on. (I’m originally from Utah) Keep up the fun videos!
I think your youngest would be a great youtuber…I see a lot of strong energy in him 🙂
Can yawl use your influence to get Allstays to make an Android version… Cause I want to use it, but not enough to get an apple…
I too love Yosemite. Might want to mention that reservations for valley campgrounds must be made (4 months ahead), especially in summer. Also, campgrounds in the park (National Park Campgrounds in Yosemite) have no hookups. It is totally dry camping with restricted generator hours. Just a heads up!
You need to go up the Hudson to West Point gorgeous in the fall.
Your sons are the best part of your videos, they crack me up
I lived for 10 yrs in Slo counry..I lived in Cayucos and Morro Bay…I was a bus driver at RTA and also drove the handicapped and elderly.. I also drove the Cambria Trolley in Cambria….I worked at our Paso office at the Paso train Station….I also worked at Hearst Castle at San Simeon. I was security there it was my paradise….. .
Just an idea…weekly top 10….I would be great with biweekly top 10 ;-). Always enjoyable…thanks guys. Clearly I dont watch your videos in sequence……they pop up, I watch them lol.
Tacofino 😉
Love y’all videos
Love all you guys
East Coast of Canada. Stunning. Newfoundland! Nova Scotia! We loved Truckee
Great run down! Thx I love ❤️ ALL your videos.
talk too fast lol …thanks for links helped
Banff is not in BC it is in Alberta
Crater lake?
I was watching this episode with my son the other day and he said: " I saw that guy in SLO, he was sitting on a bench with some homeless people and I thought to myself, I have never seen a homeless person with teeth that white". I really enjoy your channel and have learned a great deal from watching. We are traveling with a 26′ Forest River toy hauler. My son commented on your politeness and asking him how he was doing. I liked the hair clip and bacon crawdad rig, growing up in Alaska we use to use bicycle rims with the spokes removed and net added to catch crabs in Homer. Be safe and perhaps we will cross paths one day.
There are actually not caribou in Banff, they are elk! Very entertaining though.
Just one little thing…Banff/Lake Louise are not in British Columbia..they are in Alberta.
Tofino taco place is tacofino, friggin amazing food!
Great video. Summer 2019 will be my first epic road trip of 4-6 weeks, your videos are helping me go from roughing it out to details. Thanks! How did the diet of no alcohol, bread or sugar work out? Was it worth it?
Thanks for all the tips. It’s too bad you missed Avenue of the Giants just South of Eureka on Hwy 101. So majestic, the redwood trees are huge. Deception Pass State Park about 10mi south of Anacortes, WA is incredible too, similar to Yosemite, but with full hookups. BTW, it’s almost impossible to get a camping spot in Yosemite, even when you make them on the first day reservations open, 7 months in advance. But Yosemite is the best if you can get a campsite in Yosemite Valley, the best.
Love your channel and went back through and realized I had missed some in Season 3. Your video’s are so much better than anyone else that I have seen who are documenting their RV living and part of it is because Marc & Tricia are so comfortable in front of the camera and lots of interesting facts to boot!
I love your Vlog. I live in NC. On the coast. I am a paramedic, so time to travel is sometimes hard to find. Last August however my girlfriend and I stayed in Boone NC. The Camp Ground was Grand Father Camp Ground. The prices were very reasonable. There is an amazing amount of stuff to do near by. From out doors to shopping or even a tour of the Bailtmore House. I was wandering if you were planning on ever heading east, lol. I know the appalachian mountains aren’t as huge as the Rockys but you should see it.
We have a Forest River Wild Wood
Its a front kitchen and rear queen bedroom on a slide.
So a Super slid for the booth and couch, and one for the queen bed.
No issues pulling into the Camp Ground.
Thanks for taking the time and sending out your journey.
Glad you enjoyed BC. I just found you recently. Too bad. You probably passed right through Kamloops. Maybe next time!
Can’t watch this, dose she ever let you talk
KYD, thanks for all the advice on locations, gear, tips and tricks. Question for you. I see that you recommend the Zero-G hose for fresh water hook-up. I’ve had a couple Zero-G hoses for my house and found they didn’t last very long. Do you still recommend that hose for RVing,,,,and do you recommend it over some of the more popular Camcon and Apex hoses? Thanks again,,,,keep up the great vids.
Can’t wait to cross over into Canada on our travels — wow wow wow! Thanks for the inspiration and ideas. We would definitely have an incredibly hard time picking favorite places but whenever people ask us, we always mention Hwy 395 in California. That whole stretch: Tahoe to Lone Pine is stunningly beautiful. Did you visit Mono Lake in Lee Vining?? Incredible place. Also, Oregon is our home state so we loved the love you threw at it…it’s just a phenomenal place, every part of the State. If you haven’t heard of the Wallowas, put it on your list for next time. Cheers guys!
My wife Susie and I have become big fans. Ordered our new RV this past weekend. See ya on the road!
Thank you for reminding me what an incredible province(British Columbia) I live in!❤️❤️
We love whistler. You just planned our next toad trip. Thankyou
Thanks so much for such a wonderful video with so much gr8 info!!!!
I am watching old video’s as I always learn something new…So glad you guys LOVED Canada. Canadians are always joked about for being "polite" and of course we end all our sentences with "eh"…LOL…I am certainly proud of those jokes…Glad you were welcomed and sure hope you return. The eastern coast of Canada is stunning as well if you ever get really ambitious…but I might have to warn you (drum roll plz) you wont find as many upper crust rv parks on the east…LOL…You guys have seen some wonderful places and I cant thank you enough for the run down on what to see etc… I had to chuckle when the hubby was trying to explain about the place the boys got the jobs…LOL…YOUR HUSBAND IS A SNOB…haha…when you said it was kind of "state park’ish" I couldn’t help but wonder "What’s wrong with that?" …LOL…I guess the hubby likes his amenities and luxury…LOL…and that’s ok too…I personally have no problem with "state park’ish" as full time rv’ing comes with that…goodness gracious, I would have a good old belly laugh to see him stay a night in "slab city"…LOLOL…ok ok, even I wont spend a night there…haha…I am so sorry you didn’t make it to Jasper…what a treat to see that with ones own eyes…it is stunningly beautiful and awe inspiring as to what a perfect little place should look like…hopefully you will get another chance to see that…happy travels folks…love the video’s … and as always, remember "It’s a Wander-FULL Life" indeed! Stay safe and stay well.
Wow, so, Whistler & British Columbia favourites in your top 10…how wonderful….since I’ve lived here all my life! Thankfully, North America wide, the list would be endless no doubt! Of all the times I’ve been to the Palm Springs region, I’ve never been to Joshua Tree Ntnl Park! Will put that on the bucket list Marc/Tricia! Will be heading down that way this winter, so we’ll certainly have to squeeze it in! Would love to know if you’ve done the January ‘Quartzite’ gathering, which I hear is amazing in itself, albeit you have to deal with the crowds of course. I’ve boon docked there in the past a couple of times, and but never in the winter when the large RV show takes place, and the community of individuals gather! At any rate, always looking forward to your next video…and hope to catch up to you two since you are back in Vancouver!
Hi! We have just enjoyed your videos! I have a question. Do you need your passport to drive into Canada? I have mine but the bf doesn’t. Would a birth cert do passing over?
I live in West Washington which is beautiful and has amazing areas.. the North has Lynden which has award winning farms. There are amazing tulip fields in the spring. If you go to Eastern Washington, Wintrop is a great Western town, Republic has fossil hunting at Stone Rose. There’s a beautiful lake and it’s between 2 mountain ranges and is a toss to the Canadian border if you wanna go back North!
The next time you are in Oregon, you need to stop at Crater Lake.
Loving all of the videos.
YOU ~ ROCK ! !
