Nice campgrounds. Looks like fun. The bags are made out of corn.

  7. Sunshine Viking on June 5, 2020 at 5:23 pm

We’ve stayed at the Mt. Rushmore KOA and agree that it’s absolutely fantastic, if a bit spendy. There’s also some National Forest camping just across the road from the KOA, that lacks all the amenities of a KOA, but is just as close to the monument.

  8. Camper Life on June 5, 2020 at 5:28 pm

Wow those look like some amazing places. Y’all appear to have had some good times for sure. Thanks for the information.

  11. BluWave Odyssey on June 5, 2020 at 5:33 pm

We never thought we’d consider a KOA, until we stayed at one. Wow, we really enjoy them now. They are very dependable and well managed. All of the campgrounds you review here appear to be very nice. Great job! Thank you for sharing this information with us.

I love love these suggestions! We have a KOA booked for SD this summer but now need to check if it is the same one (there were several in the area). This really has me excited to start planning a trip headed east – especially FL! Wow! That spot was incredible!

Ha! So glad I found you guys from this video! Really excited to check out the rest of your content. Also- they call it cornhole because they do through bags of corn (at least that’s what professionals use). I only know this only because my husband is obsessed with cornhole and asked for custom-made pro gear for Father’s Day last year. 😳

She talks too much, does he ever talk? Rather see the beach and other sites, not listen to you talk so much.

  17. Extra-Ordinary Journey on June 5, 2020 at 5:44 pm

Beautiful campgrounds! We have added the Myrtle Beach state park to our list! We already had the Mt. Rushmore on it, but so glad you guys covered it. Safe travels!

Great video!!! You guys need to come to Texas and try its beaches and coastline!!!!

  21. Older and Wiser on June 5, 2020 at 5:52 pm

Great video guys! So funny that you mentioned the Ashville East KOA because we were researching that area and had the KOA on our short list! We’re heading there in October on our way back from Mayberry. There is a mountain campground we really wanted to check out, but they’ve been booked solid for a year. This KOA seemed like a great spot though. So glad you all mentioned it, skyrockets to the top of our list.

    Happy travels! 😀

These are now on my RV list!!! Thank you for sharing!!! We stayed at Henderson State Park near Destin FL and loved it. Sites are not right on the beach but it’s a private beach for that park. We were there in July and no more than 4 families on the beach. One day it was only us!!!

  23. Living The GoodLife Rving on June 5, 2020 at 5:57 pm

    Flagger is a great place!

  24. Rockin' and Rollin' on June 5, 2020 at 6:02 pm

  25. HarleysDinersRides on June 5, 2020 at 6:02 pm

Thanks for sharing, I have recorded your sites for future trips, thanks

  26. campingalan on June 5, 2020 at 6:02 pm

Good evening. I am a new subscriber; brought over during your videos with Five2go. We (wife, myself, and german shepherd) are in the gradual ramp up process of getting a motorhome. We are still trying to decide between Class A and C. The main question I wanted to ask is to get your opinion of size; or to get an idea of how limiting you have felt with the size of your rig. We live in southwest Colorado. We will be doing 1-2 month excursions that focus on a particular part of the country (Pacific Northwest, California, New England, etc). And, we will also want to incorporate seeing state and national parks while in those areas. Have you felt limited, due to your size, from seeing the parks? We originally were thinking small and nimble. But, fact of the matter is a 2 month stint would be nicer in a bigger rig. Plus, since there are like 6 national parks within 6 hours of us here, we know what a zoo they can be and are not opposed to staying outside a park. Thank you for your time and input. .. .safe travels…..and I now HAVE to watch your Key West video!!
