Tyler State Park | Camping in Texas with kids | Texas State Parks – Tyler, TX | Fourth of July

In this video, we are visiting Tyler State Park in Tyler, Texas. We took our summer family camping trip to visit some friends in Longview, TX, and we decided to camp at Tyler SP during our visit.

We loved this particular Texas State Park because it had a nice BIG playgrounds for the kids, a bunch of kid-friendly hiking trails, and of course, there is a lake at this state park for swimming, fishing and boating. And although it is HOT in Texas, the camping grounds are well shaded with tons of tall trees.

We definitely recommend it, and we look forward to going back and exploring more. Safe Travels!
