All the campgrounds near the Bay Area Coast are booked for the winter.. Is it because people can’t afford rent they’re camping?

  2. Philip Dutton on March 5, 2020 at 11:47 am

Dude, you better check how to pronounce Camano. Yeah it doesn’t follow the English rules but if you actually spent time there? I do enjoy your videos!

  3. Jen Heeg on March 5, 2020 at 11:49 am

Great video but I really would have loved to see a map with these locations…I’m planning this route and I’ll be googling each of these to figure out where they are. Thanks!

    Cam-a-no state park!

  6. calisdad3 on March 5, 2020 at 12:03 pm

Ya know- Instead of laying them all out on a blanket and insuring a crowded or ‘Campground Full’ experience why not encourage ways people can find their own awesome experiences? AAA ruined Kirk Creek CG years ago when they put it on the cover of Via. Go check the reservations (I did). They are booked up for 6 months and you can’t reserve more than 6 months out. Same for Wright’s Beach. enjoy.

That was awesome, thanks Jared!! My wife and I love to find places to camp on the beach, and my list of places to try just got bigger, thanks again!!

Thank you Jared for not mentioning the best campround on the entire west cost. Its already hard enough to get a spot there, and I’m glad you didn’t tell everyone about it.

good resource but leapfrogging from Sonoma all the way to Oregon misses some of the best beach camping on the west coast in Mendocino and Humboldt Counties.

  11. Noel Culbertson on March 5, 2020 at 12:11 pm

Thanks for the great list of must-sees. It was great to see Camano Island make the list. I guess that’s why we’ve been having a hard time nabbing our favorite spot!

  17. Me Me on March 5, 2020 at 12:17 pm

Should mention where on California coast these campgrounds are. I live on California coast and don’t recognize some of these campgrounds. Also would be nice to state if these camping spots can accommodate tents.
