Where to Catch Bass In Pearland

Where to Catch Bass In Pearland

If you Google “where to catch bass in Pearland,” you’ll probably see results for Tom Bass Regional Park. I agree, it’s the place to go, but don’t hit the same big lake in the middle of the park, go to the stream!

Hidden behind the treeline is a shallow-ish stream (I fell in it once, it’s not all shallow…) and it’s loaded with fish. Catfish, gar, sunfish, cichlids, carp, mullet, and yes, you guessed it, largemouth bass.

Nice channel, I’m near by and this is the kind of place I’ve been looking for.I did see what looked like poison ivy on one of those trees.

Lots of sewage in that water. TWPD has a couple of signs posted that gives warnings about fishing at your own risk. I grew up close to there.

So to be clear…..you’re actually fishing Clear Creek, correct?

Yes, there are bass in Clear Creek. Catch and RELEASE. Pollution here makes these fish unsafe to eat.

I’ve been going to Tom bass since I was little and didn’t know this creek existed. Definitely gonna hit this part up.

That’s about 20 minutes from me. I’m definitely gonna hit that place up. I like having to go the river and thru the woods for a good honey hole 👍🏼

Thanks for putting me on some fish man. I’ve recently become fascinated with carp and this place provided just the perfect environment for me to catch my pb mirror, and common carp. I also got my first Texas cyclid and a nice little spotted gar, not to mention too many channel cats to count. You are the man. ill be posted for more spots.

Is that Clear Creek along the south side of Tom Bass Park?

  34. Rainbo Sprinkles on February 10, 2023 at 8:37 am

Clear creek produces. Whether its the part of clear creek in Pearland or Clear creek by Clear Lake HS and UHCL.
