  4. Veteran Patriot on February 2, 2023 at 3:11 pm

Nice cat…Caught one in Virginia about 3 weeks ago, a 4 lb blue, Sucker was croaking like a bull frog…..Liked your video.

  5. Everett Walker on February 2, 2023 at 3:11 pm

Why did you put a spring and bungee cord on? I have used yo-yos for years . Never had any problems with just a piece of string

  6. colten james on February 2, 2023 at 3:11 pm

  12. Diogenes Ataraxia on February 2, 2023 at 3:20 pm

Willow saplings will set hooks pretty good too.

  13. Bon Vivant on February 2, 2023 at 3:22 pm

The yoyo sets the hook and keeps tension on the line.

  14. viper2788 on February 2, 2023 at 3:23 pm

How is that any better than just tying the line directly onto the tree like a trot line? Just curious.

  15. illinois fishing on February 2, 2023 at 3:25 pm

  20. Sarcastamus Raconteur on February 2, 2023 at 3:31 pm

  29. yellowjacketf4i on February 2, 2023 at 3:42 pm

I love these reels, we own a small dock and we set a few of these up every morning and by the time we come home from work we always have at least a catfish or two on the line.   They are made in USA and wont rust either.  cheapest place to get them is @ amazon.     http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ASP3YZK/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00ASP3YZK&linkCode=as2&tag=electrandmo0a-20&linkId=CJN4R4WZNS22ETM6

  31. malthus101 on February 2, 2023 at 3:43 pm

Hi – I know nothing about fishing! Questions –

    1. Are all YoYo’s the same weight in terms of fish size?
    2. Do fish like dried fish as bait? (i.e. dried shrimp)
    3. Is there a best, "onse size fits all" reel / hook / bait combination that would give you the best chance of catching edible fish in a survival situation throughout all the Americas, North and South?

    Thanks!

  32. George Gardner on February 2, 2023 at 3:43 pm

I was so impressed with your fishing yoyo videos, I bought a few and I have been killing the catfish with them. There are nights I catch more on the yoyo than poles. Great videos man. Keep them coming.

  33. nanneras84 on February 2, 2023 at 3:44 pm

  34. Alex Cravey on February 2, 2023 at 3:44 pm

    🌷🌷👍👍

  37. Ian White on February 2, 2023 at 3:48 pm

I can filet 20 catfish in the time you filet 1. It seems that if you caught 20, it would take you nearly 3 hours to clean them all. too much time.

  38. c s183 on February 2, 2023 at 3:50 pm

so them things do work, I’ve always wondered if it was another gimmick, but why do you leave the shell on the shrimp.? great video, thanks.

  39. Jimmy Conner on February 2, 2023 at 3:53 pm

    Nice Cat!

  40. Steve Decker on February 2, 2023 at 3:53 pm

I been working at Caterpillar for 20 years and love that hat, where can I get one?

  41. Gabriel Briseno on February 2, 2023 at 3:53 pm

forgive me but I thought circle hooks were made so you don’t have to set the hook?…wouldn’t you get the same result with just tying a line to the branch you used?

  42. Cole Voss on February 2, 2023 at 3:54 pm

Is the yoyo fishing reel legal in Iowa?

  43. Laron raggs on February 2, 2023 at 3:55 pm

  44. George Lucas on February 2, 2023 at 3:56 pm

Can I use the yo yo fishing reel in saltwater? thanks

  45. Shane Luckey on February 2, 2023 at 3:58 pm

Never even heard of this type of reel until today. How often do the fish swallow the hook? great video. thanks.

  46. De6430 on February 2, 2023 at 3:58 pm

The fish looks a lot like our White cats here in Mississippi. I’ll have to pay close attention and compare the two fish next time I go out. Most of the White cats I catch are between 2-5lbs.

  47. Maria Johnson on February 2, 2023 at 3:58 pm
