Dove hunting isnt easy, Just ask 3 rookie hunters (Hook City, Fishing Ken, And Neko the lab pup) who set out on opening day to try their luck at grounding some of these fast flying birds! Thank God we had Dee AKA Rev and my Remmington 12 guage with us!!!!! Grab a seat… This is a good one!

Looks like y’all had a blast, but 1 thing I have to point out is the lack of gun safety. It doesn’t matter if the gun is on safety or not as long as you ALWAYS point your gun in a safe direction. Get in the habit of pointing it straight down or straight up away from your companions at all times. Enjoy, have fun, and most importantly be safe.
When you shoot a dove and it’s still alive I just squeeze it’s neck for about 15 seconds so it can’t breathe.
It’s not as messy as ripping its head off.

Awesome video man! Dove in bacon taste’s better than filet mignon! I hunt and fish, that’s why I’m always broke! Lol. It’s dove season here in Ohio also. Dove hunting in the morning, hit the lake in the evening, nothing better!

It’s great to see you trying something new. I have been hunting deer for 4 years now, I shot my first bird 2 years ago and I have been hooked since day one. Love to see my brothers loving and living life. God bless y’all !
I have never hunted, but have always wanted to try it. I was a little intimidated, but you made it seem so feasible! As soon as I can afford it, I want to take some safety lessons, get my license, find a guide, and try it myself. I think I would LOVE it! Thanks for making the idea of hunting seem so approachable!
