Thanks! Very helpful stuff.
What weather app are you using for your charts?
Good stuff.
I️ was wondering what site I️t was that u showed the 10-day. Having trouble finding all that in one place. Thx
Man, you should start a course in your local University. Thank you so much for the helpful information, you help a lot of people that love fishing but have no idea what to do to enjoy it
I’ve been searching for a video like this for 29 years and I’m only 30! Thanks man!
cant find a good pressure graph for future!!!!!! grr lol what did you use?
So today is 84 degrees unfortunately I’m not going to be able to hit the water until around 2 now my question for you is it’s the beginning of summer winds are 5-10mph I don’t have a boat so I fish the banks would it be good to throw out senkos senkos are my go to bait I love using them
I hear two conflicting things about summer fishing- half the ppl you talk to say the bite is tough, the fish move to wherever the oxygen is so, they tend to be deeper and holding on structures you won’t know are even there unless you have electronics or have found out some other way- submerged rock piles, brush piles, ledges, long rocky points, etc. Stuff you have no way of knowing is there if you’re fishing from the bank or from a boat with no electronics. The other half say just the opposite, that this is their favorite time of year to fish when they do the best. I don;t know which is true but I know this- if you live somewhere where everyone bass fishes, and I mean like half of them own boats and have invested lots of time and money into it- yet the little local lakes and ponds you fish seem to be mostly empty of anglers- there’s a reason for that. Trust me, if it’s local to you the nit’s local to them and if there was good fishing there you wouldn’t be able to beat them off it with a stick. The reason I’m saying all this is because I just started bass fishing, and I just started bass fishing from a kayak- so I wanted to go to these small lakes and ponds first to avoid larger, more dangerous bodies of water where I would have to deal with lots of boat traffic and so forth. But- I didn’t think about the fact that there’s a reason these lakes are pretty much empty- they suck. Not so much for cat fishing or whatever but, for bass fishing- not the places you want to go. And because of this I have been doing really poorly- on a good day I might catch two… and thinking it was my fault. The truth is that it is my fault to some degree- I’m learning and I can’t expect to be Bill Dance right away but- a big part of it was just where I was fishing. You have to catch some fish- enough to keep you motivated- or you’ll burn out eventually- so if you’re like me and just getting started, make sure you fish where you have a decent chance of catching something when you do get it right.
Which particular app did you show in this video? I cannot find one that shows all needed info in graph form as shown. Thanks.
What website do you use to check the weather
Brother I really appreciate you’re videos very much. I fish every single day for large mouth bass and the information you put out there has given me and my friend very many happy days
Can I ask what app or program you used in the video to get the weatherpressure ? Very curious about this and would like to have something on my phone I clould pull up. Btw awesome awesome video! So helpful I am a new angler started this year! I have been watching tons of videos!
So freaking helpful!
I just fished in the rain first time yesterday. Best fishing I’ve ever had. It was a light Rainy day the whole day, but I fished from 3pm-5pm. It was windy, rainy, was a full moon a day or two ago and we had overcast conditions. Caught 20lbs of bass I’m about 10 minutes with a football jig. I was moving lithe jig pretty fast and they were slamming it. Was amazing!!
Stellar video on common sense, rock solid advice. Love it thanks!
Thank you for the information 👍🏽
Ur dope #Salute u and liz need a podcast. Reel talk
I need clarification please, he says thay low pressure is good for fishing which explains why fishing is great during rain. But many other sites state the opposite; high pressure = high bite. Can anyone elaborate on this? I do understand thay during a decrease in pressure the bite is high. But I want to know the effects during steady pressure at both high and low pressure. Thanks!!
I started fishing at 65 and im a boat captain on a high school, fishing thanks for the help
How many ppl on here use car scents in truck and carry gear inside cab?
Where in South Alabama? I used to live in Dothan and have many bass fishing friends who still live there – Brian Bickhaus……brianbickhaus@gmail.com
Thank you, this should be the quintessential video for beginners. You are helping new anglers with a year or two under their belt to have the understanding of someone with decades of experience.
my great grandfather use to say if the wind was blowing from the south the fish wouldn’t be biting and we would never go fishing on days that the wind was blowing from the south
105392 viewers.. So long fish. Incredible thanks.
DOES THIS APPLY TO SMALLMOUTH AND RIVER FISHING?
First time watching a video of yours, and subscribed within the 3 minutes.
Thank you for a clear and concise instructional video on a key topic (weatherk that was well thought out, implemented and to the point.
Baits for different seasons
I like how your so soft spoken. Your an awesome teacher man keep it up!
People get caught up in the newest lures and gear. THIS is the information people need to be listening too. Made the same mistake my first year. Got all the newest and greatest and still had trouble with bites. When I backed up to a few confidence lures and a use these tactics things started happening.
I was going to ask if you would do something like this but decided I’d watch all the videos I haven’t yet. Thanks for all your insight over the years.
I want more videos like these!!!
2 minutes into the video and I’ve already learned more than I’ve learned in the last 2 years.
You were made to do this Bro. There’s no telling how many people you have blessed with the knowledge you’ve gathered. Please keep going.
This is one of the best informational videos I’ve ever watched. Great video buddy. Really enjoyed it.
Thanks for the advice
Awesome. First cast with a 12 inch junebug worm in the rain I caught a 6lbs bass.
What website was that graph on
I sincerely appreciate you sharing this fishing tips. The more I learn the more I want to get out and cast for that "TUG". Guess I’ll adjust the budget for some rain gear and a new boat!. Thanks again, PS: Wife doesn’t need to know about the Boat part.
more like this helps alot good tips
Understanding big bass next thank you
Hey bamabass I live in Alabama not looking to find any of your holes just wondering what lake you fish the most I’m down on the coosa around Jordan
Where did you get the weather graphs?
you guys always fish in the rain, can you do a video showing us how you keep rust out of your boxes?!
Highly recommended chancel
Would you teach more about when to use the different types of top water lures please. I am not a top water fisherman, but I want to be. There are so many brands and types. For example; what time of day do you put away the top water lures and go to your deeper lures-what are you looking for? I know you would use bladed top water on a windy day, but lets say it’s a calm day; when do you choose a spook over a frog? Pertaining to frogs, when do you choose a hallow body over maybe a zoom horny toad or frog?
Really great video. All good stuff. Thank you very much!
Thanks for the info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you so much
Where are you located in South Alabama? I’m in Mobile, right on the coast. I’ve been really struggling recently to catch at all. Thanks for the tips.
