We need y’all down in south east Texas! I need some help in Sam Houston National Forest 🤣🤦🏻‍♂️ spooked a big buck yesterday that was bedded in a weird spot and can’t figure out what I should do to get to him

  2. cody martin on December 22, 2020 at 10:07 pm

You all should make a blooper video of all the goofy accidental mess ups you’ve had putting up stands or stuff like that. The old bill dance fishing show had falling off the boat or the snake scaring him, always good to have a little laugh.

  3. The Call on December 22, 2020 at 10:08 pm

This is what my fiance and I are focused on… Content. On the other hand we also want to make sure that the gear we use is something that fits the budget of all of us average hunters/fishermen. We both work and expect to for a while. We dont expect to make this a living but we would definitely not mind if it gets to that point so we keep pushing. Our goal is to share what we do while showcasing gear that we can afford… we are the average. We have bills to pay like the rest of us so what we use is used because A. we can afford it and B. because we trust it. We are uploading deer footage now but our "forte" if you will is yet to come.. but its coming and definitely new although I have been doing it for years. I’ll keep that under my hat for now… lol.

These guys are the coolest ever I’m a big fan of them and I love there hunting videos 👍

    Great information!

  6. Seth Wells on December 22, 2020 at 10:10 pm

I now this is an old video, probably wont see this but you guys honestly are the sole reason I’ve scouted public this year and doing some spot stalks and other hunts on public. Best youtube hunting channel!

  7. Martin Hamata on December 22, 2020 at 10:14 pm

Dudes, I love watching you guys do what you, because it’s authentic and I can relate! I LOVE hunting from the ground, with my longbow, so watching your "ground and pound" content is both educational and entertaining for me, and your filming/production makes me feel like I’m on the hunt with you guys. In fact, I actually got the "Gooch leg shakes" at my kitchen table, when I watched the epic spot and stock episode at the bottom of the ridge, for that big ten! There are other shows I watch as well, but the constant advertising gets annoying, and have never gotten the shakes watching what is ultimately a thirty minute commercial featuring managed deer herd bucks on food plots. I’ve obviously never hunted with you guys in person, but still feel like saying, "Thanks for the memories," as if I were there! Stay true to the hunt!

I subbed because I like the RANCH FAIRY and then got hooked from that pronghorn series… DO more pigs, turkeys and other things.. There are scores of hunting channels on youtube.. I breeze thru them here and there.. From smaller channels to large, established hunting shows; I sub to very few unless they they grab me or I wanna show my support. You guys have a similar template as "BOWHUNT OR DIE" Which I was subbed to a few years ago, and it’s funny how each channel tends to lean toward a specific bow company. Everyone has a BEAR on your squad… I shoot a BEAR Authority and even though it’s debut back in 2014, it’s a real tack driver when maxxed out in LBS and draw length..

Sooooo…. if you do not use any scent control products, what dobyou guys do for scent control? Lol.

  10. alan yates on December 22, 2020 at 10:29 pm

I just wanna meet good People and hunt and document it. Im 39, beginner hunter. The "industry" is too commercialized imo. You guys bring a real feel to this. I almost left hunting after my 1sr season. Not too many people will actually help or hunt with you. They say they will on social media. But when it comes down to it. Most hunters are onky in it for themselves. I thought it was going to be significantly different when I started hunting. Im in my 2nd season now. I would love to one day meet like minded people who just wanna hunt and share there experiences!! The hunting community is so click and sponsor driven!! It takes away from what the real meaning is. Im gonna be 40 in January. Im a late bloomer. Im self taught, and feel like im a little opd school with my mentality. But, I just hope I get a chance to find some guys like yourself to hunt with someday!! If you took the time to read this…. Thank you so much!!

I started seeing y’all on Amazon prime on my fire stick the other day. Watched season 1,2,3 and that’s all on Amazon. Then had to get more and found you on YouTube. I like how relatable you all are. Goofy guys hunting in the woods with what you have. Not super uppity elitist hunting. Thanks!

  12. Calvin Robert on December 22, 2020 at 10:30 pm

I don’t know why but I love this channel more than any other show. Every time they post a video I wait till my dad gets home and we watch it together.

  13. DeerSlayer Jojo on December 22, 2020 at 10:30 pm

Love the videos. Very relatable especially as someone who only has public land to hunt. My uncle has a small piece that I can use but the hunting pressure in that area makes it almost unfeasible to hunt for anything other than does. Question: what sort of tree mounts do you use for video cameras? I have a Sony HD i got at sams. It shoots good video but the usual tripod is very stiff and would only work in ground blind setups. I want a more flexible video camera setup for hunting from ladder style tree stands which is my usual setup. Thanks guys and keep on being real!

  14. Stefan C on December 22, 2020 at 10:31 pm

You seem like creative guys. You should come up with a "The Hunting Public" camo design! It would fly off the shelves and you can be completely in control of the product and make yourselves some serious coin! Keep up the great content!

  15. tara ferrell on December 22, 2020 at 10:31 pm

    nice job guys

  16. Short on the Outdoors on December 22, 2020 at 10:35 pm

At work we jokingly refer to the TV Shows as UNreality TV, mature deer with a name that walk open fields in daylight never scared of a hunter in the tree. Your content is real and on my level as a public land hunter. Huge fan, Love what y’all do

  17. Alex Moreaux on December 22, 2020 at 10:35 pm

Aaron at end you said the reason you go certain places is because of the viewers having a hard time in those areas, any chance you guys ever make it for deer to northeastern wisconsin? Particularly around bay of Green Bay A lot of small parcels to hop around and would be interested to see how you guys pick my neck of the woods apart. Also decent turkey here!

  18. Joe Parker on December 22, 2020 at 10:35 pm

How conferable is that saddle and will it work for a big boy. Big boy member would add to the show and being in physical shape for yalls style

  19. Nathan Herriott on December 22, 2020 at 10:35 pm

RED ARROW is a major sponsor show. 5 minutes of hunting the rest of the show is nonsense.

  20. Beau Dailey on December 22, 2020 at 10:37 pm

Do you guys have a partnership with Bear Archery or do you all just shoot them because they are a solid affordable bow? BTW, any chance you’ll have Aaron’s hat in this video for sale back on the website? Love the channel, content and hard work!

  21. Daveyboy on December 22, 2020 at 10:37 pm

    RESPECT👊👊

  22. loves animals on December 22, 2020 at 10:38 pm

    Don’t hate animals please please

  23. The Grateful Hunter on December 22, 2020 at 10:39 pm

You guys have great business sense and you are paying attention to those that matter most your customers/viewers. I could go on and on with well deserved adulation. I am new to watching your video but not new to outdoor life. I will try to support you how ever I can so don’t be surprised if you hear from me in a message.

  24. Jim Hall on December 22, 2020 at 10:39 pm

Best hunting show out at the moment.

  25. MIKE KAY on December 22, 2020 at 10:40 pm

Im from Florida, me and my son are heading to Iowa in 2 hours. Watch you guys all the time. Thank you, thank you for your style. Love that catman too.
You guys are like my freinds.

  26. Anthony Patton on December 22, 2020 at 10:40 pm

This is why I watch you guys. 100 percent relatable content!!

  27. William Christy on December 22, 2020 at 10:41 pm

    Thanks for the honest wakeup!

  28. Paul Anderson on December 22, 2020 at 10:42 pm

Amen guys on following your passion. I’m still a bit of a blind squirrel when it comes to hunting…only have pressured MI public land to hunt..occasionally getting a doe. But you are opening my 56 yr old fading eyes. I expect that once I’ve got most of your tips working, I’ll be getting help dragging a deer out instead of helping others. On another note. Hope you can address reporting poachers. I’m pretty sure I ran across a pair. Earlier, and talking with fellow hunters, I’m more certain the two have been moving around in the area. Lost a lot of deer pics within a week.

  29. Joseph O on December 22, 2020 at 10:42 pm

I need a life and a job hmu

  30. MrBarkspud on December 22, 2020 at 10:43 pm

Love your vids folks. Have you ever thought of trying for some big woods bucks like here in Maine? Love your explanation on how you pick your sponsors and if it wasnt for the saddle hunting I’d have not found your channel. Keep up the great work love your channel..

  31. Jim Ackerman on December 22, 2020 at 10:43 pm

So I get the sponsor or advertiser revenue, but what about the revenue you get from advertisers doing pay per click? Is that a big piece of the puzzle, or just some nice, ancillary income?

  32. Ron Macdougall on December 22, 2020 at 10:44 pm

I am so glad I finally found your YouTube hunts, keep it going strong, love the videos guys.

  33. Bryan Whitaker on December 22, 2020 at 10:45 pm

Coming from a Texas hunter I respect you guy’s work and info finding where the deer are. My 10 year old son and I have connected even more thru your videos on Prime. Keep up the good work! You’re making me want to get back into public hunting, after growing up that way and now hunting feeders. Amazing aspect of how hunting really is. Keep it up!

  34. MoT0R He4D on December 22, 2020 at 10:45 pm

What drew me to you guys is a great many things y’all do is the kinda stuff I did when I was a younger guy figuring out the whole hunting thing ( didn’t have anyone to show me the ropes ) Trying unorthodox things etc. And it was finding your channel that lit a fire under my ass to go hunting again. Hadn’t hunted in a number of years, since losing my father-in-law ( My hunting buddy ).

Cheers, happy hunting and keep it real guys.

  35. cvongall66 on December 22, 2020 at 10:48 pm

You guys are my favorite show. I can’t wait for the next one. I’ve been a subscriber for a couple of years now. And I still go back to the ones I didn’t see from before I subscribed.
Keep doing what you do. It’s a good formula.

  36. Matthew Stanley on December 22, 2020 at 10:49 pm

Solid stuff fellas! Really appreciate how y’all haven’t changed since day one. Bless ya!

  37. TitleistFJ33 on December 22, 2020 at 10:51 pm

Do you all have jobs outside of YouTube?

  38. Fishin on a Mission on December 22, 2020 at 10:51 pm

what’s the podcast channel called ?

  39. Trent Green on December 22, 2020 at 10:54 pm

I agree with yall 100 percent because yall show both success and failure its not yall just killing deer

  40. Trent Larm on December 22, 2020 at 10:55 pm

Definitely one of the most relatable platforms out there. The way you guys deliver the video with explaining your sets and not posting ads is awesome!

  41. Robert Ahlholm on December 22, 2020 at 10:56 pm

you guys have the BEST hunting show bar none- period– FYI come to central NJ big bucks out here but very hard to find- you could get alot of footage over here, lots of public land.

  42. Ricky Rice on December 22, 2020 at 10:56 pm

I always thought yinz sent jake out on the weekends to strip to make money for the team

  43. Robert Ahlholm on December 22, 2020 at 10:57 pm

exactly why I hardly ever watch MwW anymore- long intr w/ the endorsements and throughout the show pushing products thanks for the insight

  44. Chris Cornell on December 22, 2020 at 10:57 pm

Here’s a "back-handed compliment": You’ve ruined most other hunting videos for me. Since discovering The Hunting Public two years ago, I can’t watch anyone else’s YouTube offerings because they simply pale by comparison. The hunting information you convey–and the way you do it—are unmatched in quality. PLEASE keep up the great work.

  45. brian.bartleson on December 22, 2020 at 10:59 pm

The authentic clothes are one of the best parts, I need a hat like Ted’s, anyway y’all will bring one out with a THP logo?

  46. Darrell Leggett on December 22, 2020 at 11:00 pm

I’ve been watching you guys for 3 yrs. Way better than the outdoor channel

  47. Mr Smith on December 22, 2020 at 11:02 pm

This Chanel is way better than any outdoor Chanel or any big bucks show. However, I know what you do is not easy. Truly top notch editing, dimming and story telling. I love the public land. I refuse to watch rich guys hunt on deer farm.

  48. peter sapiano on December 22, 2020 at 11:03 pm

I so look forward watching your videos if you want some property in michigan to hunt turkey you can hunt my place..
