Barton Springs was the only actual thing in Austin 🤷♀️ and it’s not "free" to get in btw. Usually, these locations are packed too. I still liked the video though.

Going with my girlfriend this weekend have a hotel downtown, any recommendations on good things to do that won’t break the bank ?
If you are ever in San Antonio on the weekend you have to stop by Gruene’s town square. It is on the outskirts of San Antonio and we always have a lovely time when we visit
San Antonio at Christmas time is pretty amazing. So lit up.
Finally someone showing the really cool Austin stuff like Barton Springs. Most people just show a random taco place and a bbq place.

I moved to Austin in 1977 when it still had quaint small town vibes. Ben White was the southern edge of town. The airport was near downtown. Austin has grown incredibly large since then. There are now more than 2 million residence in the metroplex. Housing prices are through the roof. Traffic is almost unbearable. But I wouldn’t leave for any reason. Come visit…but don’t relocate here, please.
So far it appears that he just went to the stupid tourist spots, instead of the good local spots. Guess that is good though, to keep the local spots hidden… 😉
I love this city, but wouldn’t swim.. there’s leeches at the free side of Barton springs and under the bridge where ppl jump off >.<

I’d vote for a video of River Road there in Gruene. Just the drive with the roar of the river would be SOOOOO relaxing. I could use an eight-hour meditation video of that with music!💋❤
